This training program provides excellent knowledge about silicosis, how it affects the health, medical aspects and safety tips to avoid and prevent silicosis. The program explains proper procedures to use in an environment where silica and other silicosis health hazards are found in the workplace. At the end of this video, a ?bonus? video, produced by the Department of Labor in 1936 is provided. This is a very old, black and white film, but it?s worthwhile to provide an insight into the how insidious siliciosis was back in the 1930?s and what action the government took to protect workers. It?s a far cry from what we have today. (Spanish version does not have ?bonus? video.)
