Offshore Water Survival Training

Duration: 6-8 Hours

Scope of Training:
This training course covers survival techniques in the unlikely event of an offshore incident, vessel accident, or unscheduled helicopter water landing.

Course Objective:
Student successfully completing this course will be able to:

• Perform Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET)
• Identify the differences and don a PFD in and out of the water
• Recognize abandonment procedures on a station bill
• Use short and long term survival skills
• Utilize alternative floatation means
• Have general knowledge of associated hazards
