STCW95 -Personal Safety and Social Responsibility

Duration: 4 Hours

Scope of Training:
This four-hour course teaches the proper actions to take while executing shipboard duties to ensure their own personal safety, the safety of fellow crewmembers and to protect the marine environment. Successful completion of This training course will satisfy the training requirements of 46 CFR 10.205 (I)(4) and Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-4 of the STCW Code.

Course Objective:
At the completion of this course student trainees will have an understanding of the following topics:

• Crew training and drills
• Pollution prevention of marine environment
• Observation of safe working practices
• Good human and working relationships
